This combination provides an 90% adhesive-free zone over each well while ensuring a secure seal around the rim and between wells while allowing for direct sample recovery with single or multi-channel pipettors or robotic probes. The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe to minimize the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample. Transparent zones and two end tabs allow easy and accurate positioning of the film to the plate.
