The 2.4G2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD16 (FcγRIII) and CD32 (FcγRII), which are expressed on various immune cells and play a role in adaptive immune responses. This antibody is commonly used in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence to prevent non-specific binding of IgG Fc portions to FcγIII and FcγII receptors. Both the complete antibody and Fab fragments are effective for in vivo Fc receptor blocking.
