Description
Polyethylene glycol is used in electron microscopy. It is used as a solvent, a dye carrier in inks and a dispersant in water based coatings. Its derivatives like PEG esters are used as surfactants. In the textile industry, it is used as a lubricant, softener, dye carrier dispersant and an anti-static agent. It finds application in personal care products like skin creams, lotions and bath gels.
