Spectrum™ Chemical Polysorbate 20, NF is a hydrophilic, nonionic, polysorbate surfactant and a polyoxyethylene derivative of sorbitan monolaurate with relative non-toxicity. It is used in cosmetic and personal care product formulations as a fragrance ingredient, surfactant, emulsifier, and wetting agent and is used in a variety of products including skin fresheners, skin care products, skin cleansing products, makeup bases and foundations, shampoos, permanent waves and fragrance powders. It appears as a yellow liquid and is soluble in cold water. Spectrum Chemical NF products, including all NF polysorbate products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
