The Instech BTPUS-027-60 consists of ten individually packaged 24 in (60 cm) lengths of 2Fr medical-grade polyurethane tubing. This intravascular tubing is specially extruded for a precise friction fit with 25ga PinPorts™ and Vascular Access Buttons™. Since polyurethane is difficult to sterilize without specialized equipment, these lengths are pre-sterilized via Ethylene Oxide (EtO) to meet animal welfare regulations for survival surgery. The material is biocompatible, stretchy, and kink-resistant, making it a standard choice for mouse catheters.
