These RoboColumns are pre-packed with POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode Chromatography Resin to remove moderate to high levels of aggregates during downstream processing of therapeutic antibodies in flow-through mode. As a mixed-mode, weak cation-exchange resin, POROS Caprylate resin effectively removes other impurities, such as host cell proteins and a wide range of high molecular weight species. RoboColumns are small chromatography columns provided in 8-column strips. They are useful for fully automated and parallel chromatographic separations using robotic liquid handling platforms.

POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode resin (Cat. No. A51051) operates in flow-through mode, which helps reduce costs, especially when working with more engineered monoclonal antibody derivatives. The unique selectivity of the caprylate ligand contributes to a high yield of the targeted monomer while using established cation exchange resin buffer systems. POROS Caprylate Mixed-Mode resin is manufactured using a synthetic manufacturing process that is free of animal components.
