Description
Potassium bromide is used in manufacturing of photographic papers, engraving and lithography, in spectroscopy and as an analytical lab reagent. Potassium bromide is employed in antiepileptic medication for dogs. It is utilized in the bromination of alkenes using cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate. It plays an essential role with diacetoxy iodobenzene for bromination of alkenes and alkynes.
