Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) is a widely used general purpose medium for the cultivation, isolation, and enumeration of yeasts and molds. It is commonly used in clinical, food, and cosmetic microbiology laboratories for fungal testing and environmental monitoring. This product features a 15 mL deep fill tube format that provides significantly more medium than standard slants. The larger volume allows the agar to be melted and poured into petri dishes when fresh plates are required, or solidified as a deep or slant for long term fungal culture storage.
