They are ideally suited for general clarifying and prefiltration applications including solvents, deionized water and bioburden reduction. They also provide broad thermal compatibility. The prefilters provide high particle retention, high dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop. They are designed for filtration of organic solvents, but they can also be used - once properly wetted with alcohol - for the filtration of aqueous solutions.
