The PPI Control Plasmid Set (FRB:FKBP) contains two plasmids encoding the two-component split reporter LuxSit™ s-Pro under a rapamycin-inducible system. One plasmid encodes FRB:t under a CMV promoter in pcDNA3.1, and the other encodes FKBP:Lux under CMV in pcDNA3.1. Plasmids are shipped lyophilized in 25 µg aliquots. This system works with the LuxSit™ s-Pro PPI Assay Kit.The Monod Bio LuxSit™ Pro family features the world’s smallest and highest-performance de novo luciferases. Available as full-length reporters or split complementation systems, the 13.5 kDa ATP-independent enzyme is monomeric, soluble, thermostable, and expressible in bacterial and mammalian cells. Paired with the LuxSit™ Pro Assay Buffer and Substrate, it generates glow-type luminescence several times brighter than Firefly or Renilla luciferases.Learn more at monod.bio
