This Cogent HPS Silica™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. This proprietary Silica is not modified in any way and is ideal for purification of polar compounds by preparative HPLC. With a 5 µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures compared with smaller particles and is often used for hydrophilic or polar compounds in Normal Phase HPLC. Compare its performance to Inertsil and Luna products. A specialized HPLC System is required for columns this size.
