Description
The Pro-Q Diamond Phosphoprotein Gel Staining Kit includes Pro-Q Diamond Phosphoprotein Gel Stain and PeppermintStick Phosphoprotein Molecular Weight Standards. Pro-Q Diamond Phosphoprotein Gel Stain is a fluorescent stain (excitation/emission maxima ∼555/580 nm) that can detect as little as 1–16 ng of phosphoprotein per band with a signal that is linear over three orders of magnitude. The PeppermintStick Phosphoprotein Molecular Weight Standards are a mixture of phosphorylated and nonphosphorylated proteins with molecular weights from 14,000 to 116,250 daltons that serve both as molecular weight markers and as positive and negative controls.

• Sensitive—detection level down to 1–16 ng of phosphoprotein per band
• Convenient—selectively stain phosphoproteins in acrylamide gels, without the need for blotting or phosphoprotein-specific antibodies and western blot analysis

• Linear signal—exhibits excellent linearity over three orders of magnitude, ideal for quantitation
