This Cogent RP C18™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value, and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of an 18 carbon silane to the highest purity silica available. The 10 µm Particle works well with higher flow rates and produces lower back pressures than smaller particles. The extra large diameter and long length of this column provides very high loading capacity which is great for purification of hydrophobic or neutral compounds making this ideal for Process HPLC. A specialized HPLC System is required for Columns this size.
