Propper sterilization tape is designed to distinguish processed and unprocessed items

The white stripes turn to dark during steam sterilization indicating that the pack has been processed. Specifically formulated universal adhesive provides secure bonding with fabric and non-woven wraps, paper, metal and glass, yet provides easy removal without traces of residue

 

• Imprinted with a process indicator steam reactive ink
• Ink changes color when exposed to steam sterilization from white to black
• Ink is unaffected by dry heat or light
• Tape can be written on in pen or pencil
• Core size is 1 in.
• Each roll contains 14 yards of tape
• Tape is coated with natural rubber adhesive and synthetic resin

 

 

• The purpose of the indicator tape is to hold packs securely without need of pins, staples, fasteners, and to distinguish items processed and unprocessed in a sterilizer
• The tape is a process type indicator and the color change should not be interpreted as indication of adequacy of sterilization cycles
