This recombinant monoclonal antibody targets RAB7A, a small GTPase superfamily and Rab family member. It is involved in late endocytic transport and contributes to the maturation of phagosomes. Defects in RAB7A are associated with Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease type 2B (CMT2B).
