There are many advantages to performing the Mouse and Rat PYY ELISA, including sensitive quantification, high specificity, no influence from other plasma components, and the needlessness of sample pretreatment. The PYY standard is a highly purified synthetic product (purity: higher than 98). The Mouse and Rat PYY ELISA kit shows 10 cross reactivity to human PYY and less than 0.01 cross reactivity to human and rat NPY, which has a similar amino acid sequence to rat PYY. Research Use Only.
