Quantitative Synthetic DNA from Dientamoeba fragilis can be used for assay development, verification, and validation as well as monitoring of day-to-day test variation and lot-to-lot performance of molecular-based assays. Preparation includes fragments from the 18S ribosomal RNA, internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1), and 5.8S ribosomal RNA regions.
