Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) and peroxides in solutions Gradation of scale: 0-0,5-2-5-10-25 mg/l H 2 O 2 white to blue QUANTOFIX � Peroxide is also suited for the determination of other inorganic and organic hydroperoxides. For the determination of hydroperoxides in organic solvents the test field is moistened with a drop of water after evaporation of the solvent. Between pH 2 and 9 the reaction is independent of the pH value of the test solution. Strongly acidic solutions should be buffered with sodium acetate, alkaline solutions are adjusted to pH 5 - 7 using citric acid. Strong oxidizing agents interfere.
