Waters TA Instruments Quench Cooling Can is designed to supplement the cooling performance of the Finned Air Cooling System (FACS). It provides rapid cooling of the DSC cell from 725°C to ambient temperature using a customer supplied cooling medium such as ice, solid CO2, or liquid nitrogen. This accessory does not extend the temperature range of the FACS to sub-ambient temperatures. It is also suitable for use with the Tzero Pressure DSC Cell (P/N: 970900.901).
