The Grainger 2F627 is a 1/2 HP, 115V, 1725 RPM, 56C frame, open drip-proof, ball bearing, sleeve bearing electric motor. It has a 48Y frame with a 1.15 service factor and manual overload protector. The motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) with a cast iron body, aluminum end brackets, and 1/2" diameter shaft. It can be wired for 115/230V dual voltage operation. The motor is CSA certified and meets NEMA design B specifications with a maximum ambient temperature rating of 40°C (104°F).
