GenePath Quixtract Total RNA Extraction Reagents are used for the rapid extraction of high yields of high-quality RNA from whole blood, with a total processing time of ~30 min. A fixed low sample input of 500μl of blood valid across a wide range of total white blood cell (WBC) counts is required and extraction does not require the use of a cooling centrifuge or addition of nuclease inhibitors. The kit contains a Quikzol Reagent (to be stored refrigerated at 2 - 8 deg C)and comes with prepackaged extraction columns, collection tubes, wash buffers and nuclease-free water. Can be coupled with GenePath BCR-ABL RQ-PCR reagents.
