This highly functional but simple design combines two tools in one. It is a weighing dish and a transfer funnel that is suitable for liquid, powder or crystalline samples and can be used for drying tissue prior to analysis. The reduced diameter of the stem fits into test tubes or vial necks, eliminating spills or loss of samples. The flattened bottom assures stability when weighing or storing samples. Quantitative transfer insures accurate, reproducible results and the funnels can be rinsed without fear of sample contamination that occurs with paper or plastic products. The weighing funnels are fabricated of the strongest, chemically inert borosilicate glass. They stand up to the harshest chemicals as well as temperatures from -150 to +500 C.
