Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ PRD4 and PRD-ER4 Personal Radiation Detectors help users detect real radiation threats with high sensitivity while minimizing nuisance alarms that slow screening, response, and decision-making.

Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ PRD4 and Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ PRD-ER4 Personal Radiation Detectors help security, emergency response, and radiation safety teams screen people, vehicles, facilities, and materials with high sensitivity, fewer nuisance alarms, and greater confidence in the field. The RadEye PRD4 detector is used for basic screening and interdiction, whereas the RadEye PRD-ER4 detector extends PRD-style screening to higher dose-rate operation capability. Built with natural background rejection (NBR) technology, both the RadEye PRD4 and RadEye PRD-ER4 detectors help distinguish artificial radiation from naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM), thereby reducing time spent adjudicating alarms and improving screening throughput. For missions requiring an added layer of threat awareness, the RadEye PRD4 detector also provides neutron indication capability.

The RadEye PRD and PRD-ER4 Personal Radiation Detectors enable accurate dose rate measurements across the broader gamma spectrum, providing a greater assurance of personal safety. The neutron indication capability of the RadEye PRD provides an additional layer of detection critical to determining the level of radiation threat.
