The Makita 5" Random Orbital Sander is a handheld power sander that uses a random orbital action for smooth sanding on wood, metal, and plastic. It has a powerful 3.0 AMP motor that delivers 12,000 OPM for fast stock removal. The sander has a rubberized palm grip for comfort and control. It comes with a dust bag to contain dust and particles. The sander uses 5" sandpaper discs (sold separately). It weighs only 3.3 lbs for reduced fatigue during extended use. This random orbital sander is ideal for fine finishing work and detail sanding.
