A pack of ten, batch control slides to be stained, scanned, and reviewed with experimental slides. Control slides contain a monolayer of buffy coat and spiked-in 22Rv1 cells (epithelial cells from human prostate gland carcinoma). This control slide is used to assess the performance of the immunofluorescent staining process for the detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs). Cells may be identified using the following biomarkers: Nuclear DNA, CK/EpCAM, CD45, AR and or ARv7, and or SYP. Compatible kits include RareCyte RarePlex ARv7 CTC Panel Kit, Leica(SYTOX) (24-1250-001); AR/ARv7 CTC Panel Kit, Leica (SYTOX) (24-1281-001); ARv7/Synaptophysin CTC Panel Kit, Leica (SYTOX) (24-1282-001); Synaptophysin CTC Panel Kit, Ventana (SYTOX) (24-1287-002).
