The MyBioSource Rat Triiodothyronine (T3) ELISA Kit quantitatively measures T3 in various biological fluids using a sandwich enzyme immunoassay. A 96-well plate coated with a T3-specific antibody captures T3 from samples. Post-wash, biotinylated anti-T3 antibody and HRP-conjugated streptavidin are added. TMB substrate induces a color change proportional to T3 levels, measured at 450 nm after adding the Stop Solution.
