Description
Combines rotary vane and diaphragm vacuum pump technology to support freeze drying and molecular distillations, with substantially reduced maintenance and less hazardous oil waste. Chemistry-design diaphragm pump is used to back the rotary vane pump. This configuration keeps pump oil under vacuum, reducing condensation of solvent vapors in pump oil and oil changes by as much as 90% over conventional rotary vane designs.
- Free air capacity: 4.1cfm
- Ultimate vacuum: 4 x 10-4mbar
- Restriction-free, high-flow inlet ensures high flowrates under vacuum
