The compact size minimizes waste when working with smaller volumes due to reduced width/length which provides less surface area for hold up. Reservoirs have been designed with trimmed base corners, deeper pour-off spouts for spill-free emptying, and a deeper, narrower ¿trough within a trough¿ to maximize reagent recovery.
