Regulates activation of T and B lymphocyte proliferation, and also stimulates monocytes, lymphokine-activated killer cells, natural killer cells, and glioma cells. This cell culture grade recombinant human IL-2 is a variant form of IL-2 (contains a serine to cysteine substitution) that can be used for differentiation studies, functional assays, and cell culture.
