STEMCELL Technologies Refametinib, Size: 10 mg

Supplier: STEMCELL Technologies 73374

Inhibit growth of cancer cell lines in vitro, including those expressing B-RAF mutation V600E (Iverson et al. Cancer Res, 2009) with Refametinib. Refametinib is an inhibitor of both mitogen-activated protein kinases 1 (MEK1) and 2 (MEK2). This small molecule has various applications in cancer research, including inhibiting tumor growth in various xenograft models including human melanoma A375 and human colon cancer Colo205 cell lines, and primary pancreatic cancers (Iverson et al. Cancer Res, 2009.; Chang et al. BMC Cancer, 2010). Together with other growth factor inhibitors such as Erlotinib and Sorafenib, Refametinib is also used to induce apoptosis in pancreatic cell lines (Diep et al. Clin Cancer Res, 2011) and inhibit tumor growth in hepatocellular carcinoma rodent models (Schmieder et al. Neoplasia, 2013). Refametinib is supplied as a crystalline solid with ≥ 95% purity; Molecular weight 572.3 g/mol; CAS Number 923032-37-5. Visit STEMCELL.com for more information.
