The 14R197 is a 1/2 HP, 115V, 1725 RPM, 56C frame, open drip proof, single phase, ball bearing, sleeve bearing electric motor manufactured by Baldor-Reliance. It has a 1/2" diameter shaft with a 1/4" keyway and counterclockwise rotation when looking at the shaft end. The motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled with a cast iron frame and end brackets. It can operate on 50/60 Hz power and has a service factor of 1.15. The 14R197 weighs approximately 22 lbs and has standard NEMA mounting dimensions. This general purpose motor is suitable for industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.
