The Reflex wound closure system provides a fast and effective alternative to sutures for closing wounds in research animals. The system is ideal for quickly closing skin incisions made for ALZET pump implantations, enabling researchers to streamline surgeries and save valuable time. The Reflex Kit 100 includes three components: Reflex Wound Clips (quantity 100), Reflex Applier and Reflex Remover. The 7 mm Reflex Wound Clips are ideal for use in rats and provide maximum holding force while minimizing skin trauma. They are easily placed using the automatic, spring-loaded Reflex Applier. After wound healing the Reflex Remover is used to remove the clips. All components are supplied non-sterile but may be autoclaved. When needed, additional Reflex Wound Clips can be purchased separately.
