Description
Isolate anaerobic micro-organisms with Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Brucella Agar with Laked blood, Hemin and Vitamin K. Prepared according to American Public Health Association1 the medium contains laked blood and supports the growth of fastidious anaerobic bacteria. The medium also contains menadione (Vitamin K) and hemin for added enrichment to enhance the growth of anerobic bacteria. Brucella Agar with Laked blood, Hemin and Vitamin K can also be used for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of anaerobes2,3
