The m ENDO Agar LES medium is prepared according to the formulation of McCarthy, Delaney, and Grasso1 and used for the enumeration of coliform organisms in water2. It is recommended by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater and Compendium of Methods for the Microbiological Examination of Foods for the enumeration of coliforms in water, wastewater, and foods2,3.
