Description
Digest and decontaminate clinical specimens prior to inoculation of media for isolating Mycobacterium species using Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Oxalic Acid reagent. In 1930, Corper and Uyei described an oxalic acid procedure prior to inoculation of media for digestion and decontamination of clinical specimens1. They reported growth of acid-fast bacilli on a variety of media after using this reagent.
