Isolate and identify fungi from clinical specimens using Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Potato Flake Agar. In 1982, Rinaldi reported that Potato Flake Agar promotes sporulation of molds, is easy to prepare and stable to store1. Riddell described the use of Potato Flake agar to stimulate sporulation using the slide culture technique2.

Molds require microscopic evaluation of morphological structures for proper identification. Potato Dextrose Agar enhances the production of characteristic morphological features such as conidia.
