In this Restriction Enzyme Cleavage of Plasmid and Lambda DNA with SYBR™ Safe kit, plasmid and lambda DNA are pre-digested with restriction enzymes - endonucleases that recognize and cut double-stranded DNA within or near defined base sequences.
