This restrictor coil is a crucial component designed to ensure the proper functioning of a pulse damper by maintaining a minimum back pressure of 500 psi (3447 kPa) or greater. Fabricated from small-diameter PEEK tubing, it prevents pressure fluctuations that could otherwise lead to premature failure of the pulse damper and pump. Solvent flows through the inline filter, then this coil, and finally out the filter/outlet during normal operation.
