Recombinant Protein

For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. This RET V804E recombinant human protein (858-1114) was expressed in insect cells. RET V804E recombinant human protein is also available in our SelectScreen™ Kinase Profiling Service. Validated for use with the Z'-LYTE™ assay Available in multiple pack sizes for convenient use Also available in our SelectScreen Kinase Profiling Service Protein Form: Recombinant, Active, Cytoplasmic, Mutant The gene accession number for RET [V804E] is NP_066124.1.

RET receptor tyrosine kinase or ret proto-oncogene is a member of the cadherin superfamily which are cell-surface molecules that transduce signals for cell growth and differentiation. RET can undergo oncogenic activation in vivo and in vitro by cytogenetic rearrangement. Mutations in the RET gene are associated with the disorders multiple endocrine neoplasia, type IIA, multiple endocrine neoplasia, type IIB, Hirschsprung disease, and medullary thyroid carcinoma. RET signaling pathway, by regulating the development of both the nervous and lymphoid system in the gut, plays a key role in the molecular mechanisms that orchestrate intestine organogenesis.
