World Precision Instrument Weitlaner Retractor, Self-Retaining, 16.5cm, 3x4 Sharp Prongs

Supplier: World Precision Instrument 501723

A Weitlaner Retractor is a self-retaining, handheld surgical instrument used to hold soft tissues apart during surgical procedures to give the surgeon access to the site. The retractor is self-retaining, meaning it remains in place once it is positioned, freeing your hands. The Weitlaner Retractor has two parallel blades with prongs, each with blunt or sharp, curved, and slightly tapered ends. The retractor has a ratchet locking mechanism to secure the blades with the desired spread. This mechanism enables easy adjustment of the retraction angle and provides stability during the procedure. The ring handles give you a firm, comfortable grip. These Weitlaner Retractors have 3 x 4 prong configuration, with 3 prongs on one blade and 4 on the other. They are 16.5 cm (6.5") long and can have a spread of 6.5 or 7 cm. They are manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel or premium German steel, both of which are autoclavable.
