RFRP-3 is an inhibitory hormone that is a homolog of the gonadotropin-inhibitory hormone (GnIH) and blocks release of gonadotropin from GnRH in the pituitary. Inhibits cAMP accumulation and progesterone production from FSH, LH, and forskolin in granulosa-lutein cells. Agonist of the G protein-coupled receptor 147 (GPR147 or NPFF1, IC50=0.7 nM). Provided as 500μg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
