Eurofins Discoverx Recombinant Human BMP-4, 5 µg. (92-1267)
Supplier: Eurofins Discoverx 921267
Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP-4) is a growth factor protein that is part of the TGFβ superfamily. Responsible for the onset of endochondral bone formation, as well as mesenchyme formation, BMP-4 is also involved in development of many organs (limbs, teeth, muscles, etc.) and repair of damaged tissues. BMP-4 has roles in neurogenesis in adults, maintaining neural stem cell pools, and its dysregulation has been associated with a variety of bone diseases. BMP-4 is thought to homodimerize or heterodimerize with BMP-2 and act as an agonist on BMPR1A and/or BMPR1B. Provided as 5 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits. Ligands are conveniently supplied with a recommended reconstitution buffer. For detailed information and product-specific datasheet, visit www.discoverx.com/ligands.
