Interleukin 13 (IL-13) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine protein and mediator of the immune response. Agonist of the interleukin 4 alpha receptor IL4R, and has similar effects on immune cells as interleukin 4. Central mediator of allergic inflammation, and is associated with induction of airway disease. Also responsible for B-cell maturation and differentiation. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
