Interleukin 15 (IL-15) is a cytokine protein and mediator of the immune response. Similar to IL-2, IL-15 may compete for the same hematopoietin IL-2 receptors. Agonist for IL15RA. IL-15 is secreted by mononuclear phagocytes in response to viral infection and is responsible for regulation of T-cell and natural killer cell activation and proliferation. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
