Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a secreted proinflammatory cytokine with a broad range of activities including the stimulation of thymocyte proliferation by inducing IL-2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, mitogenic FGF-like activity, and the release of prostaglandin and collagenase from synovial cells. Acts as an agonist for IL1R1. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
