Interleukin 22 (IL-22) is a cytokine protein and mediator of the immune response. It is a member of the IL-10 superfamily, and an agonist of the heterodimeric cell surface receptor that is composed of IL-10R2 and IL-22R1 subunits. IL-22 is responsible for initiating immune responses against bacterial pathogens in epithelial cells, especially those in the GI and respiratory tract. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
