Interleukin 26 (IL-26) is a cytokine protein and mediator of the immune response that is overexpressed in herpesvirus samimiri-transformed T cells, and thought to contribute to the transformed phenotype of T cells after herpesvirus infection. IL-26 is an agonist for IL20RA, has roles in mucosal immunity, and may be a pro-inflammatory factor. Il-26 is inhibited by heparin, and may be implicated in inflammatory bowel disease. It is similar in sequence to IL-10. Provided as 25 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
