VEGF165 is the most abundant isoform of the vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) protein. VEGF is critical for stimulating vascular growth and permeability. An agonist of the VEGF receptor tyrosine kinases, including KDR, VEGF functions in angiogenesis, macrophage and granulocyte chemotaxis, and vasodilation. Primary functions include development of new blood vessels during embryonic development. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
