Merit Rochester-Carmalt Hemostatic Forceps are a standard type of hemostatic clamp used in several procedures. These forceps have longitudinal serrations the entire length of the jaw. The tips are cross-serrated. The fully serrated working surface allows this instrument to have greater grip on heavy or tough tissue and stop blood flow of large vessels. The ratcheted handle allows locking on larger tissue for hemostasis. Rochester-Carmalt Forceps are available curved or straight and either 6-1/4 in. or 8 in. long.
