The Instech ABS2/R Stand is an optional accessory for the Instech ABS2™ automated blood sampler designed to position the sampler unit directly above a standard rodent cage. This configuration is intended to facilitate hand-free automated blood sampling from a swivel and tether system on freely-moving catherized rodents while minimizing tubing dead volume. The stand ensures proper positioning to reduce stress on the animal and minimize the length of the fluid lines, which helps with the accuracy of microsampling.
